A Pain in my Hip

I wasn’t feeling very enthusiastic about swimming when I woke up this morning, I hadn’t slept well due to a pain in my hip and it was rainy and gloomy outside of my bedroom window. 

I am so glad I made the effort though, as by the time I arrived at Newton’s Cove in Weymouth, the drizzle had stopped and the sun was trying to come out. This is a great place to swim at high tide, as there are some steps that lead directly into the water, so access is easy. 

The sea was calm and my only company was a cormorant who kept diving and popping up in a different spot. My hip pain vanished in the cold water and did not return for several hours!
