It was a double dip day for me yesterday and my first sunburn for 2022! I carefully put suncream on my face before I went out, but I didn’t put any on my arms. It was warm enough to sit without my Dry Robe on afterwards and my skin was exposed to the sun for the first time this year.
A bank of fog was swirling around Portland Harbour as the light wind changed direction. It also seemed to be low tide for most of the day, and I had to walk out a long way to get into deep enough water to be able to swim.
My second swim of the day, was so wonderful, as there was not a breath of wind. I chatted to a young girl who was out on her paddle board for the first time. She said “I love the sea” and I replied, yes I love it too.
