An Empty Portland Harbour

13th November 2021

I avoided swimming yesterday as the winds were a bit stronger, but the calm conditions have returned.

Today I swam near Castle Cove Sailing Club. There were a few paddle boarders about and the sailing club members were out checking moorings. All of the boats that moor here in the summer have been laid up for the winter now, so Portland Harbour looks empty.

I recorded the water temp at 13.7 and the air temp at 17.2 which is very mild for mid-November.
