Phew! It has been hot in Dorset this week. I was very glad of a cooler evening swim in Portland Harbour.
Earlier in the week, I swam several times at Ringstead and it was good to be able to discard my swimming gloves as the sea was so warm at around 18°C.
In the picture above I am wearing my new swim robe that I purchased from Charlie Mcleod, a smashing company to deal with! The company offers personalisation, so I was delighted to be able to get ‘sandyswims’ embroidered on it. This is a lightweight robe made of absorbant microfibre, so is perfect for warmer summer swim days. I had great communication with them about my design choice and really prompt delivery too. I am super pleased with it and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this brand.
