I am not usually keen to swim first thing in the morning, but with a forecast of very light winds and a morning high tide, I was tempted this morning.
I did not get to sleep until late last night, as there was a disturbance outside of my apartment involving the police. All was resolved by midnight though, it was two very vulnerable youngsters who had far too much to drink and were not going to get home unassisted. I heard the two girls tell the Police they were only 16, so I was relieved when they arrived. When my alarm went off, I nearly turned over and went back to sleep, but my kind husband made me a cup of tea, so I got out of bed and put on a costume and my Dry Robe and off we went! He made a big flask of coffee, which is always so welcome after being in the cold sea.
It was such a calm November morning, and there was just a small patch of blue sky, but enough to give me a glimpse of the sunshine, which is all I needed to feel grateful for the day ahead of me.
