My morning began with a super walk along the beach at Burton Bradstock. I love to be back there, hearing the rolling waves as they crash onto the beach. I swam at Hive Beach so much during the summer, but the sea needs to be very calm, otherwise, I struggle to get out in the big waves.
So I enjoyed a low tide swim at Sandsfoot Beach instead. Castle Cove Sailing Club had had a big bonfire on the beach on the Friday before, and the tide had come in and made it look as though the fire was floating. I could not see any evidence of the fire today, so they must have done a good job of clearing up the following day.
